The Red Rooster Inn of Hillsboro Illinois greets all "Travelers, Wayfarers, and Refined Persons" to this picturesque Central Illinois town. Situated on the Courthouse Square of Montgomery County, this 1902 Hillsboro hotel figures prominently in county and community affairs.

The second lodging establishment at this location, the first having been built in 1823, the Hotel has provided accommodations for politicians and performers, alumni and entrepreneurs, tourists, and townsfolk for reunions, rallies, or a relaxing sojourn.

Area Attractions: Central Park, located near downtown Hillsboro, has a large swimming pool, a bathhouse, and a wading pool for young children. Sports complex with soccer field, ball diamonds, and play area. Hillsboro's surrounding lakes and parks will satisfy a diversity of recreational interest, with their excellent fishing, water skiing, and sailing facilities. Both Glenn Shoals Lake and Lake Hillsboro are stocked by the Illinois Department of Conservation. Fish Lake Hillsboro, Glenn Shoals, and Coffeen Lake for bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish.

The Red Rooster Inn has a ramp for wheelchair access to the main floor lobby, main floor rooms, and restaurant. The cellar pub is accessible by a ground level door on the east side. We are a non-smoking facility!
